Bengali Plain khichadi Recipe

Bengali recipes are very unique and delicious in taste. There are lots of bengali dishes which may attract you by its delicious taste. In this bengali ranna recipe I am shearing , bengali style khichuri recipe.

Ingredients required to cook khichadi: 

Rice 500 grams

moong dal 200 grams

Onion 2 piece, sliced

Egg 2 piece

Cumin or jeera 1tsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Cooking oil as needed

Salt as needed

Potato 1 piece

Beans 200 GM’s

Cooking process of khichadi:

First off all pour oil in  a heavy bottom pan and heat it. After enough heat add cumin and saute for a minute. Now add green chilli and onion and shallow fry them for 2- 3 minutes. Now add vegetables (aloo, beans etc). Now add daal and rice and mix them well and fry for 3 minutes. Now add water and cook well. Now in another pan fry eggs and put it in khichadi and mix properly. Now your Favourite bengali style khichadi is ready to serve.
